Your Shields Township Board
The Shields Township Board of Trustees is the Township's legislative branch of government. It establishes Township policy, approves bill payments and certifies tax levies. Meetings are held monthly, with an annual meeting held each April.

Videotapes of Township Board Meetings may be borrowed from the Lake Forest and North Chicago Libraries, and from Center Video in Lake Bluff.

Unincorporated Shields Township Public Safety Committee:
Oversees public safety concerns which may not be addressed in those areas that are not within municipalities.
